About This Listing

I'm selling my gorgeous PRS Studio to fund the purchase of a guitar more suited to my current projects.

I purchased this fine axe brand new from Willcutt Guitars in the spring of 2012. There is plenty of info about these guitars on the internet, so I'll just share a few notes about this particular specimen.

This guitar is worth considering just for the pickups. That 57/08 bridge humbucker especially. Nice moderate output PAF style. There is a good reason that PRS 57/08 humbuckers are so expensive on eBay.

The finish is gorgeous to some, hideous to others. You either love the radioactive green or you don't, but you can't deny that it's striking.

I have installed a Tremol-No. You can get a good look at it in a couple of the photos. I will include all of the original hardware in the case - the tremolo claw, spring, and backplate. If you don't want to deal with the Tremol-No, I'll be happy to remove it and restore the trem to the original configuration. I aim to please.

I would have described the condition of this guitar as "Near Mint" but I found a few superficial signs of use when taking the above photos in my front yard. There are two marks on the headstock - one on the end (between the horns) and one on the face of the peghead, next to the 6th peg. There are also a few marks on the bottom edge of the mahogany back. I've taken close up photos so you can see for yourself. They look like chips but there is no finish missing. If you run your finger over them, you can feel something there, but it's more of a bump than a divot, if that makes any sense. I never even noticed them until taking these photos. There is no notable damage or excessive wear on any of the hardware. Functionally, this guitar is in tip top / ready to play condition.

Here are more of the particulars:
  • 57/08 pickups (bridge humbucker + middle and neck narrowfield humbuckers)
  • Eriza Verde transparent finished top / clear finish on mahogany neck and body
  • Pattern neck
  • Very smooth and stable PRS tremolo system
  • Tremol-No for locking the tremolo bridge - *unless you really don't want it.
  • PRS locking tuners
  • 25" scale
  • What I call a "9" top. I own a PRS  Custom 24 with a 10 top and it does not look any nicer than this one!
  • Includes original case (in almost perfect condition) plus all tags and case candy
  • Dunlop straplock strap buttons are installed. Original strap buttons will be included in the case.
  • Tremolo backplate and screws are also included in the case
I use FedEx shipping to the lower 48 (signature required).

I may be interested in a trade for a Suhr Classic Pro HSS.

THANKS FOR LOOKING!!! Let me know if you have any questions.
