For your consideration; I present this 1988 PRS Custom 24 finished in vintage sunburst with bird inlays and a two piece book matched quilted 10 top. This one has the regular neck carve, gold hardware and sweet switch.
Serial number 8 5657 is the 5657th guitar produced in 1988 by PRS in their Annapolis Factory. This guitar has the early PRS features and the gorgeous quilted maple top is both distinctive and beautiful. Comes with its original case and paperwork. There are less of these early models in existence than PRS Private Stock guitars.
The guitar has some very minor crazing from a shirt button on the back above the pickup cavity and a tiny impression on the back (See photos) from having a cable bump into the finish two decades ago. I also want to note the gold finish is warn on the low E string from very gentle use over the last 31 years.Serial Number: 8 5657
