For sale is a very nice Soundgear by Ibanez 6-string bass guitar. This has active electronics (9v battery) and sounds great. It is currently strung EADGBE (like a guitar) with medium-to-light weight strings. It sounds and plays great, but it a bit big for me.
From the Internet research I have done I believe it was made by Cort in Korea with the following specs (see pic). Note that these are not guaranteed as I don't have the original manual to verify, but I believe they are correct. Serial is: C6125529. It is late 90s vintage, I think 1996. This is sold as-is, no returns. It functions well and is described fairly and clearly.
Specs: American maple body, painted black, maple neck, rosewood fretboard, 3-band EQ (really nice). The range of EQ isn't big, it's cut and boost on all the 3 bands and won't go larger than +12 dB The balance is very good due to heavier then usual body.
