What is offered is a excellent example of Ibanez guitar's from the 80's, over all the guitar is in excellent shape, it's is fast and straight, all the electrics sound crisp and clean, a few minor road scars on the finish, overall a nice guitar for being 40 years old or more. It comes with an original Ibanez hardshell case, tremolo bar and neck strap
The RGTHRG2 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2007. It is part of the H. R. Giger series with body covered in a graphic print of a portion of Giger's painting NY City XI (Exotic).
The RGTHRG2 features neck-through-body construction with mahogany body wings attached to a maple and walnut neck. The neck has a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with deluxe sharktooth position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Infinity humbucking pickups, an Edge Pro II double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut.
The RGTHRG2 was the second RGT model bearing a Giger graphic after 2005's RGTHRG1.
The RGTHRG2 was discontinued after two years of production.
