Here is a powerful high current 7.1 channel multi-zone home theater receiver, built in Japan during the pinnacle for Denon quality in design and engineering. Featuring 120 watts of amplification on all seven channels, this is a feature-rich surround reciever that decodes Dolby Digital EX, DTS-ES, and Dolby Pro Logic IIx and also features the third generation of Denon's amazing "Denon Link" interface for digital transfer of stereo or multichannel DVD-Audio and SACD DSD signals from compatible Denon components. 24 bit digital "Alpha Processing" and Burr-Brown DACs on every channel.

Six digital audio inputs and two digital audio outputs, 7.1 channel analog inputs and 7.1 channel pre-amp outputs, three zones, inputs for component, composite and S-video connections. Learning/multibrand touchscreen remote (included), owners manual (included), and the option to use an accessory set-up microphone (not included, but easy to find).

This receiver features the warm and detailed reproduction that was their signature sound during the glory years before they began to outsource manufacturing out of Japan. Likewise the quality of the build is way beyond the current product line. While many AVR-3805's are in the ubiquitous black, this one is in the more elegant premium silver. It has had a very gentle life with almost no use in the guest quarters of a wealthy Seattle executive's home.
