This is a four piece MINT condition, rare, NORTH drumset, made in Canade at the time, and no longer made.  The drums are made of Fiberglass.  They are 100% original.   Made during a narrow time period of the late 1960's- 1980, these drums are incredibly cool looking, with their fluted 90 degree angle shape, but more impressively due to the 4" wider per drum "mouth: than head, they project like no other drum.
Included are four drums, along with spurs for the bass drum,  the three legs for the floor tom, and a top of the line DW mount for the two rack toms.  The relevant sizes of the three toms are the dimension of the head, versus the dimension of the mouth opening.  They get their volume based on the same principal as the old Victrola record players.
This set has a 22" batter head bass drum that is 20" deep.  It is not fluted. But due to its construction it pounds.  The floor tom has a 14" head, and an 18" mouth. The two rack toms are variously 10" size head, with 14" mouth, and 12" head with 16" mouth.
The bass drum has a mount, the mount arms are DW.   All the drums have a batter head only, by design.    The heads on all the toms are the original JNorth heads, in barely used condition.  Prior to my acquisition of this set I had never seen a North set with the original heads.   I immediately took them off to save them (as these drums are very collectible), and substituted Remo Pinstripe heads, which I still have and will include if the Buyer desires, at no extra charge.   I've seen North drum sets sell for $5000.00 and up.  These drums are a "steal", at my asking price, particularly due to their mint condition.   They are obviously no longer in production.   The floor tom has two legs holding up the base or bottom part of the drum, with one long leg attached to the back of the shell just below the batter head shell region.   All four drums, and all hardware,  importantly are in pristine condition.  No scratches, chips, discoloration, in a word, perfect.  The bass drum is similarly in perfect condition.,  All hardware is complete, and without rust, nor pitting.   The actual mass of each of these drums is very large.    It takes a 24" x 24" x 20" box just to ship the floor tom.   The toms are long! Mounts are in fine working order.  Original heads are pristine.
There are some videos on You Tube, where drummers playing a North drum kit are shown,  that will give you some insight into just how big these drums SOUND.  They all boom!
The bass drum, which is cavernous, is the best sounding bass drum I have.   Deep, throaty, yet controlled.  And loud.   The toms put regular toms to shame.   These drums set up just like regular drums as part of a set.  The only variable is which way to point the mouth, or bottom part of the shaped drum.
This is a matched set.   The three toms are clearly North drums.  Although the correct size, the bass drum may have been an after-market acquisition.  The mouth portion of all drums is protected with a rubber ring, which is how they come from the factory.
Given the size and weight of these drums, it will cost, I imagine at least $200.00 to ship them, to the contiguous  48 U.S. states.    They are too large for shipping internationally via USPS Priority international, by far the cheapest normal option.  Pick up of this kit would be most desirable, and at no cost.   I only charge actual shipping costs incurred, with a ceiling, in this case for domestic shipping $200.00.  If it costs less to ship my policy is to refund the difference.
This kit is a real gem.   It is rare, and collectible as I've said.   And is in incredibly nice condition. If you're inclined to buy these, I wouldn't hesitate.
