This bass has seen little use over the last 10 years and sat mostly in a smokefree studio or in a gig bag.
It is a Korean version which is hard to find and has superior quality and tone (according to many) as compared to the new epiphones made in China.
As you can see, the 90’s epiphones were nearly identical when compared to the gibsons made in the US having a visually identical design, body shape, volume and tone knobs - which of course is not the case anymore as today epiphones are made in china and have little in common with their american counterparts (https://reverb.com/item/9987713-gibson-les-paul-deluxe-bass-1992-amber)
This bass has great neck profile, great sustain, low action and loud pickups. I really like the 4-bolt neck design found on many higher end basses.
I recently had this bass set up and restrung with D’addario flat wound chromes by a tech at a local guitar shop, it plays and sounds great - (the old strings are included as well)
The bass comes with the gigbag in the pictures. This is a nice package and a good price (the strings are $40, set up $60 and gig bag $30)
As you can see in the pictures this has been well cared for and I tried to highlight the only 2 minor cosmetic defects. There is a small indentation in the bottom “side” of the bass and the cover for the truss rod opening in the head is not original (so it is only held in place with 1 screw since I didn’t want to put holes in the bass), but liked the Les Paul Custom cover better as a cosmetic upgrade (see detailed pictures)
