Amazing little mixer, discrete transistor based mix preamps - all six cards recapped with 105c caps - 3 band eq - 2bus w/compressors. In a cute 70’s case with its own external power supply. I re-capped everything in this in 2015- works perfect - some of the eq hi knobs are slightly off in boost from channel to channel - I’d replace the pots but they work, are totally intact and quite odd.

The preamps are ridiculous - guitars , snare, acoustics , synths , anything really sounds great but it likes loud A LOT.

The bottom bottom band is an inductor based 40hz cut/lift and it’s disgusting and amazing. The ring/sustain you can get off mics at extreme settings is inspiring.

The mid band is a mid boost @4k and is quite smooth , I usually keep it at about 9pm or a little below to start. It sounds REALLY good to turn this knob up on synths and old drum machines.

The top band is 12k cut/lift and it usually stays within an hour of the midpoint. But can be used for some cool ‘air’ if you want that.

It’s actually a quad mixer but you need a 422 to get the full quad functionality - I wound t be selling this if I didn’t have another and a 422 already together.

There are a few different ways to use the board with the provided in and out but mostly I’ve kept lines going to 3-4 and mics in 1-2 and keep them both routed to a bus. There is an echo send(mono) and affects return (stereo) on each buss, accessible with a stereo/balanced-to-2x 1/4” - basically a tip/ring insert cable into the 1/4” stereo jack labeled echo return.
