Up for grabs is a rare left handed 100% original 1984 Ibanez Roadstar II RB650L, with the original hardshell case. Made in Japan. For being 35 years old this bass is clean. Electronics have been tested... fully functional and no scratchy pots here. There is a scuff on the top horn as shown, and two small dings on the front that were being difficult to photograph. I noticed a hairline crack in the pickguard by one of the screws. There are some scratches and a ding on the back, also pictured. A previous owner got a little too close with a rattle can and got a bit of over spray on the head stock, also pictured. I was afraid of damaging the finish, so I didn't want to mess with it.
The chrome is in better shape than most this age, with just some very minor wear on one of the tuners. The frets are in great shape, with plenty of life left in them. The truss rod is fully functional, and the bass has been restrung and set up.
The case shows some wear. There are a few small tears in the tolex on the edges, and a 1.5" spot where the tolex is starting to peal at a seam.
