Squier Affinity Telecaster blue relic with hardshell case

Squier Affinity Tele.  Why is the price so high?  a) I don't really want to sell it and b)There is quite a bit of sweat equity in the instrument..  But if you love it more than I do, then it can be yours.  Stock body, neck, tuners, and pickguard.  GFS tele pickups.  (Vintage alnico bridge pickup and vintage stagger neck pickup).  New pots, switch, jack.  

Action is low side of medium so it will add just a little bit of extra snap without being buzzy.   Every player is different and some may want to change the setup to reflect their own playing style.  When buying any guitar online, it is always wise to factor in the cost of having the instrument set up by a local tech to meet your own preferences.

Finish is blue over copper with some of the blue rubbed off.  Thin coat of amber shellac gives everything a bit of age.  Obviously, the thing is chock full of dings, nicks, and other little details that just add to the flat-out coolness.  All of it is cosmetic and on purpose.  The guitar works perfectly, but has a semi-relic vibe.  I did nothing to age the hardware, so it's still shiney.  I tried to capture the details with the pics.  Hardshell case included.  

As stated before, I know that many people don't want to spend $500 on a Squier Affinity.  That's cool with me.  There are a bunch of new ones out there for $179 and you can mod the daylights out of them yourself.  It's pretty fun and you will end up with more guitar than you thought for short change.  But if you want something that you can just whip out of the case and get people wondering "just how old is that thing and where did it come from?", then this tele might be an option for you.
