Hi everyone, up for sale is an used Keeley Tone Workstation KTW-1. This is the early Keeley Tone Workstation that renowed Robert Keeley designed and made briefly in 2006. As mentioned by Mr Keeley himself in his website quoting "Ten years ago we built a small batch of these and they moved into the hands of famous players and collectors. John Mayer recently took two of the originals out on The Dead & Company tour". The pedal was recently sent in to Keeley to have the circuit board cleaned up and the foot switches replaced - Robert Keeley himself posted saying this was one for John Mayer! Two were made for him - one stayed on his board and this is #2. There's also evidence of the KTW-1 on John Mayer's pedalboard that was featured in Jake Blakesberg facebook. Both pictures are attached on the listing! You won't find a pedal this rare (and incredible sounding) anywhere else!
The KTW-1 is quite different as it actually features the two Keeley Modded TS-9 (Mod Plus and Baked Mod), Compressor Plus and the famous Keeley Modded Blues Driver. Not only that, you can also patch them in any order that you want and if you wish, add other effects in between as well. If you check out the pictures, the op-amp chip used is also the much sought after and SRV preferred RC4558P. The serial number #02 also adds to it's rarity and for collectors this is your chance to get hold of one! Anything from John Mayer light overdrive to tube screamer bluesy tones to searing mid to high gain is quite possible with this unit, plus the order of patching the effects in different order will also open up a different tonal pallete and endless possibilities!
Item is as per pictured, in very good condition and comes with the Japanese manual, and warranty card. Feel free to ask any questions and do check out my feedback and purchase with confidence.
