1984 Gibson Les Paul Custom in the classic Wine Red finish. This is a fantastic example of a Norlin-era Les Paul Custom that's been tastefully upgraded where it counts, making it an incredible player's guitar while still retaining much of its originality. If you're looking for a vintage Les Paul that can be taken straight to a gig or into the studio without paying collector-grade prices, this is well worth a look. Specifications: - Genuine 1984 Gibson Les Paul Custom - Original Wine Red finish - Original wiring harness - Original nut - Original frets with approximately 40% life remaining - Seymour Duncan SH-1 '59 and SH-2 Jazz humbuckers - TonePros bridge and tailpiece (original studs and screws retained) - Schaller tuners - Period-correct replacement truss rod cover - Period-correct replacement strap buttons - Pickguard removed - Includes a period-correct Gibson Chainsaw hard case (non-original). Condition:- great condition overall, barely any scratches or marks (20 years under someone's bed).- minor dint in the neck half way up (see pics).- slight checking in the nitro in some parts of the body and headstock. - fret life is on the lower side and it'll need a refret eventually.The case is fully usable but shows its age, with two latches no longer functioning.
