Nice vintage Silvertone 1472 TV Style Amp
Nice, tested, working and sounds great.
Both inputs, instruments and microphone work, Tremolo, speed and intensity controls work.
Restored, the power capacitors, signal capacitors and some resistors have been replaced.
Original Jensen speaker. All tubes are vintage of various manufacturers.
The cabinet is in very good vintage shape.
All control work but may be a little scratchy when rotated but occasional exercise and DeOxit control cleaner should take care of that.
Although currently working and restored with many new parts, some parts are still 50+ years old, it is being sold ASIS and as pictured. No returns unless dead on arrival.

The Dano-built,
black-covered 1472 was part of the new, sleek look of the early 60s, part of a quartet of 'combo' amps that were portable, with clean lines and prominent front-mounted controls. On this model and its bass brother, the 1473, a hefty 'refrigerator' handle was also part of the package. Tremolo was included on this amp, controlled by a footswitch. Somewhat infamously, the first versions of this amp had the misspelled 'TREMLO' silkscreened on the front control panel.
Introduced: Fall/Winter 1961
Retired: Spring/Summer 1963
