Here is a Japanese-made Audio Technica AT813 handheld small diaphragm electret condenser microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern, sturdy professional all-metal construction and output via XLR. Works perfectly and is in excellent cosmetic condition - no blemishes.
Ideal for close-up vocals, overheads, piano and strings. This microphone requires a single AA battery which I cannot include due to shipping restrictions (the spec sheet linked below, for the 813a, says that it can be phantom powered as well but I think I tried once and it didn't go - searching online appears to confirm this; in any case the battery life > 1 200 hours, with some users claiming 3 500, which is plenty), so it would be good for location recording or journalism where the camera/recorder has no phantom power.
Frequency response is 30-20 000 hz.
Spec sheet for the Audio-Technica AT813a can be found here:

I gladly combine shipping; local pickup is strongly encouraged where feasible. Note: the shipping costs are estimates based on destinations of BC and California. If you live closer to Toronto than that it could be cheaper.
