CLASSICAL GUITAR

Made of all solid tonewoods by luthier Vicente TATAY TOMAS in SPAIN around the 1960s

about 19cm total length, scale lenght 64,7cm

- solid spruce top with nice multi coloured wooden soundhole rosette and multiple purfling and maple binding

- very nice grained all solid mahogany classical body, lower bout 34,2cm, center bout 22cm, upper bout 26,2cm, sides hight 8,4cm - 9cm, back with maple binding
- straight mahogany neck, spanish neckfoot, nice grained spanish mahogany headstock, reddish rosewood fretboard, 19frets, original bone nut, width at nut 52mm

The guitar is in fully playable with good 3,8mm string action (E1) on the 12th fret. On the back (upper area) two cracks were well closed/glued in a former repair. The bridge seems to have been reglued in a former repair, too. The repair was well done, the connection is bomb-proof and intonation is matching
The tops`varnish seems to have been overpainted with shellac and is a little bit dull. Otherwise the varnish is showing normal signs of the time and use

 Fingerboard and frets are showing no signs of wear. The frets were polished, the fingerboard was cleaned and oiled
