1972 API 1604 Console Fully Loaded From Sunset Sound LA and EQs From The Record Plant NYC

This API 1604 console dates right around 1972. It was originally from Sunset Sound in California and is fully loaded with with eqs from Sunset Sound and The Record Plant in NYC. It is loaded with ten 550A-1 and three 550A from the Record Plant, the last three eqs are early 550B. The console was in fully working in operation till 2012 when it was decommissioned and put into storage. The pre amps were recapped within the last few years and the eqs have been in use up till early last year. We've just tested the console and all channels are working but I recommend  going through the desk and clean all contacts and it has been sitting for a few years. The two 16 volt and the 24 volt power supply are in good working order but there was a 18 volt supply with it that needs to be repaired. I actually don't know what the 18 volt supply is for as nothing on the console uses 18 volts and the desk works without that supply. I've used this desk and it sounds fantastic, if you like vintage API this console is for you, loads of punch, amazing on guitars, bass, and drums. It packs a lot into a small foot print. It is missing one empty panel, the desk was originally ordered with only two echo returns the panel covered one of the empty slots.
