Overview

One of Guild's more well-known solidbody guitars, the S-100 premiered in 1970 after the discontinuation of the Polara, which also used the S-100 model number. The S-100 was shaped very similar to the Gibson SG, but with asymmetrical horns. Its pickups were very large humbuckers controllable by four knobs and three-way switch. A phase switch was added to the model in 1972.
