The Collings SJ acoustic guitar is the brand's take on the small Jumbo body silhouette. The small Jumbo incorporates qualities of both a Dreadnought acoustic and the classic Jumbo body type, which give the Collings SJ a unique sound with pronounced mids. The SJ, which typically comes with a sitka spruce top and maple body, occasionally substituted with Indian rosewood, will give you the projection and sound of a larger acoustic while still offering a bright, clear response in the treble and mid frequencies.
