The amplifier built in 91 in the USA. Very good technical condition, original footwitch included and a decent case. The European version does not require an additional transformer.

A hand-built, stereo, boutique amplifier This functional amplifier was hand-built and hand-folded with the use of such exotic materials as silver-plated Teflon insulated wire, Switchcraft sockets, huge power and output transformers, everything placed in a case made of birch plywood from Finland. The S120 was designed in 1986 and was the flagship model of the early M & S series. Channel 1 contains the SL sound of the famous amplifiers of the TBR series best for old school metal (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Scorpions). Decrease gain, add chorus and reverb, and you'll get Gilmour or Eric Johnson sound.

S120 has inputs with different sensitivity Lo and Hi. To ensure greater versatility, many potencometers have additional push and pull options Channel 1 offers two degrees of gain. Pulling the bass potentiometer activates the gain step 1. Pulling the treble potentiometer activates the gain 2. The first channel also has a notch center (mid scoop, here called Mid-notch), you need to pull the mid potentiometer.

Channel 2 has a pull treble potentiometer that makes a bright switch, the middle has a pull - mid-notch, and pulling the potentiometer bass is a change in the contour value. mid-notch allows you to switch between blackface and tweed voices. Contour increases the bass response and compresses the center and adds gently highs.

The Master Potentiometer has a pull option, when you pull out, you set the boost on the power amplifier. Chorus is controlled by 2 potentiometers, Speed and Depth. When you pull pot depth, you activate presence boost.

The S120 was the first tube amplifier to offer a true stereo effects loop with send and return potentiometers. The effects loop is after the preamplifier and before the power amplifier, it is also operated with the footswitch. Slavemaster is a separate, third channel.

Slavemaster simulates having a large amplifier powered in full power mode by load resistors, which produces a distortion effect on the output stage and acts as a power attenuator. Potentiometers Gain and Level work similarly to volume control and master. Slavemaster also has its own loop of effects on the rear panel, so you can connect other effects only on the Slavemaster channel designed mainly for solos.

Potentiometers on the rear panel include a power class switch (pentode / triode) that changes the nature of the lamp operation and the way the signal flows through the amplifier. It can change the sound from silky and soft in the Triode setting to a full, bright sound in the Pentode position. Each power amplifier has a separate Triode / Pentode power class switch that allows power to be cut in half. The rear panel sockets include: two parallel speaker terminals, line output, send effects loop and two return, Slavemaster Send and Return and Footswitch connectors. The combination in an external stereo processor with the help of effects loops influences the unlimited possibilities of creating your sound. On the front panel, the 3-position switch allows you to reduce the power to 25% of the normal value.
