The American Performer Series Strat has an alder body, cut into the definitive Strat shape, with a 25.5" scale length. The neck is cut from maple into a modern "C" for smooth playability and the fingerboard sports 22 frets and dot inlays. This creates a bright, expressive single coil tone without the all-too-common volume drop or added noise. This adds a whole new sonic dimension to the Strat.
