About This Listing

Rare, early version of Shin’s Music salute to the Dumble. We were told this specific pedal for sale here was the sample pedal tried out by Brad Paisley and others. We cannot confirm that (sadly). Here is the info we know:

‘This one has been the pride of my collection...if you know anything about these pedals, you'll know that beauty lies within (because they aren't the best looking pedals on the outside). If you are looking for that Dumble tone, this is it. It does it all...Blues, rock, jazz, whatever. It is a great pedal. One additional thing, I can't prove it, but the gentleman (Phil Traina) who imported these from Japan specifically told me that this is the exact pedal that Brad Paisley played through with his '52 telecaster (for about 45 minutes). I didn't believe him at first, but he said it was pedal #181. Not sure why he would make it up, because I didn't buy the pedal from him, so he wouldn't know which pedal I had anyway. Whether it is true or not, it may or may not have some kind of special Brad Paisley mojo.”

It also appears in the Doug Doppler demo review from 2013.
