The Buzz Audio Essence is a dual-slot 500 Series compressor with optical gain reduction cell. I/O on the second slot functions as a sidechain send and return (defeatable on front panel) to insert an external EQ into the detector of the compressor. The Essence also features built-in sidechain EQ curves as well as a SC listen function.
