For your consideration, a Kay/Harmony Archtop that I have put a LOT of time and effort into.  The hardware is all upgraded:  The Tune-O-matic bridge is Gotoh via Allparts, the  tuners are probably also Gotoh.

When I got this guitar, the neck was barely attached to the body, so I had to take it off and completely reset it.

EDIT: Since I originally listed this, it sold, and arrived to the buyer with the neck half separated from the body. (Thanks FedEx.) So I got it back via Reverb Shipping Protection and got it fixed up again. It took a few gluing sessions, but I am happy to announce it is back in "good as new" playing shape. This time I used epoxy, so it should be good to go for several decades to come.  Due to this, this guitar now comes with a hard shell case.

I got a wild hair to electrify this one, so I did. I found these goldfoil pickups online and have been adding them to parlor guitars that are not in collector shape, but still play great. The goldfoil sounds really warm and shimmery.

The gold foil simply mounts under the neck, and then I added a jack plate on the bottom for the cord and wired in a simple volume control. I have been controlling the tone of mine with my pedalboard and it sounds great.

This thing now plays and sounds great. I've been calling it "The Delta Gutbucket" because....well just look at it. Would be great for someone who plays psychobilly, garage or has a one-man-band stomp rock style deal.  If you want a demo of this guitar, check out my Instagram @jacksguitarcheology.

As always, I cleaned it up, polished the finish, oiled the board, changed the strings and set the action as low as I could. This guitar comes with a hardshell case. As with all pre-1980 acoustic guitars that do not have adjustable truss rods, this guitar is excluded from my returns policy.  (See my shop policies.)

A rock n roll machine that oozes character.
