Anton Schroetter Mittenwald/Bayern 1960s Wood

This bass has quality metal strings and an adjustable bridge. It was made in Germany in the 1960s. The neck was broken sometime in the early 80s but the repair has held in the neck is straight with no buzzing of the strings. Although the fix is a bit ugly see the pic. The end pain is jammed but could be repaired easily. There is some chipping but nothing very ugly or affecting the sound. It is a arched back not a flat back. This base is killer. It was used for rockabilly by the previous owner and currently I am playing Hungarian and Romanian folk music on it. I find it similar to a kay but more beautiful
