Victory Loaded Tele Pickguard with Standard Gold foil Black

This Listing is for a Victory Standard Lowrider Gold foil pickup custom mounted in a Black Tele pickguard. Now, a little about our pickups.

The look and sound of foil pickups are back and more popular than ever! These pickups look great on an old Teisco, Harmony, or any project guitar. I even use my pickups on cigar box guitars with amazing results. Lowriders are also perfect when looking for a different sound from a guitar that you already have. New pickups can open up new creative and sonic possibilities. Heck, build your own version of the infamous "Coodercaster"! Customers are also commenting on how great they are on their metal resonator guitars.

Lowrider pickups are a flat ferrite magnet, surface mount single coil pickup. They can also be mounted underneath with minimal modifications There are no pole pieces so string spacing is not an issue.

Lowriders measure just under 3/8" tall, making these easy to surface mount on many guitars. Please see blueprint in photo section for dimensions. Mount spacing is that of a standard Strat.No routing means only one very small hole for the pickup wire only. Pickups are underwound coming in around 5k ohms ( Don't let that reading fool you, the vintage tone is in there!). Character was important when designing these pickups.Each pickup and guard has a vintage, hand made appearance.
Pickups are grounded to a steel base plate with shielded wire, giving a surprisingly quiet and unique single coil . There is a youtube clip below and also my first test run here:

Please remember: When installing this loaded pickguard there is a good chance you will have to make minor modifications to your guitar. There may be some small amounts of wood that may need to be removed beneath the pickguard. Some pickguard holes may not line up and you may have to drill some new holes. It is all part of the process. If you do not have the knowledge to do modifications, take it to your local guitar shop and they can do the work for you with minimal effort. To be upfront and honest, If you want to keep your vintage guitar 100% stock, I do not recommend this loaded pickguard. If you are looking for a one of kind look and a guitar that has new life and sonic possibilities, I say go for it!!! Your pickguard will look better in person since pictures were taken with protective film still on (Darn you Photo dept!)
