About This Listing

Original 1993-94 Gibson USA Employee ID of Michael Ancell, Lead Machinist. Builder of Gibson's first 100th Anniversary guitar plus all the solid body models during 1994. Hired by Henry J, CEO, on Nov. 14, 1993. Gibson purchased a new CNC mill in late 1993 to build the best guitars that could be made. They wanted a real machinist to build all the fixtures and program each model to exacting specs. After completing this he created approximately 50k guitars by himself while Gibson sent their operators to Michigan for training. If you own a 1994 Les Paul, more than likely it was one he made. He made every solid body and all the customs as well. A Murphy R9 starts with one of his bodies, neck, and fretboard. All offers considered. There is only one of these. This is the original ID issued to him on Nov 14, 1993. He is soon to be 57 years old. I will supply a letter of authenticity stating the entire provenance of the ID. Signed and Notarized...History awaits you...
