Up for grabs is a wonderful 1972 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop ‘54 Reissue. Very special guitars from this era with solid bodies and no volute!
This guitar is a player’s dream - great neck, newer frets, awesome pickups (T-Top neck and Seymour Duncan Antiquity in the bridge), a Mojoaxe tailpiece for great intonation and mojo for days!
The wiring harness, knobs, tuners and strap pins are original. The guitar did have 3 holes that have been filled in between the volume and tone knobs. At some point it was stored on bubble wrap, leaving the bubbling on the back. It has been routed, and I do not have the original P90 pickups.
This guitar is a heavy LP, weighing in at 10 lbs 5 oz on my postal scale, but it’s tone and playability - along with amazing sustain- more than make up for the weight.
Comes in a black “made in Canada” case.
