2005 Hallmark Stradette Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar Gold Sparkle Mosrite w/ohc

Up for sale, a 2005 Hallmark Stradette in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Initially a Bakersfield, CA guitar manufacturer with ties to Mosrite, the modern Hallmark line takes many of the best features of the original Mosrite instruments including the "Shade" roller bearing vibrato unit, high fidelity custom wound pickups, and slender neck shapes that are effortless to play. A very unique body design created in the '60s by Hallmark business partner Bill Gruggett, the modern Stradette boasts a thinline double-cutaway body with an arched maple top and back, a solid center block of seasoned hardwood minimizes feedback and provides maximum sustain, and two wide range high output pickups. A notably early example crafted at the Samick factory in South Korea (manufacturing has since moved elsewhere), this Hallmark features USA-made pickups and hardware for an incredible value! The guitar weighs 7lbs 6oz and has been professionally setup with 10-46 strings and low action.

The neck has a medium C shaped profile that borders on the slender side of things, and the rosewood fretboard retains slender fretwire with good meat and height, showing light wear on frets 1-3, extending beneath the G string until fret 5. The scale length is a full 25 1/2" and the nut measures 1 3/4" in width. All of the electronics work as intended, and the Mosrite-esque vibrato unit and roller bridge has an extremely smooth, even response just like the original Vibramute. Cosmetically, this Hallmark is clean as can be, and the gold sparkle gloss finish has barely a scratch on it.
