This 1990 Yamaha spruce/rosewood Dreadnought has a remarkably crisp and detailed tone.  True to the reputation of made in Japan Yamaha acoustics, the bass response is surprisingly good and indicative of the high-quality tone woods used to construct the laminated top, back and sides.  Despite a few minor 'nicks' that have been featured in several of the photos, this guitar is truly in 'Very Good' condition!   Includes original Yamaha hard case.
  • 1-11/16" inch nut width
  • Spruce Top
  • 3-pc Rosewood Back
Due to conflicting manufacturing dates shown on several current, competing listings of the FG-301, I've included an image directly from Yamaha's own serial number guide which confirms the 1990 Made in Japan Custom Shop origins based on serial number 80509.
