Left Handed Fretless Walnut Fiddle Handmade Wishbass (Refinished!)

This is a beautiful lefty fretless bass made in NC by Steve Wishnevsky. As you may know, Steve's builds are somewhat crude as he makes these by hand so they would usually require additional work to be playable. This one has been completely redone by my luthier and is now an instrument any serious musician could be proud of. He leveled the fingerboard, adjusted nut slots, refinished the fingerboard, refinished body and added gun stock oil. Rewired the pickup & shaped the back of the neck.

Please note that anything perceived as an imperfection is not from use but marks made by the builder himself in the crafting process.

• Walnut five piece neck with Maple and Purpleheart stringers for stiffness.

• Three octave Ipe fingerboard. Very hard wood, great feel. Light weight, under 8 pounds on our digital scale.
• Tru-oil finish 
• The nut is 1 7/8 inches wide. 
• The scale is 34 inches.
• The tuners are black minis. 
• There is only a volume control. .. Strap buttons and side dots are standard. 
• Bridge and nut are Corian.
