This accordion was just lightly cleaned and checked by Yakov our accordion repair man.
I was raised on the accordion from age of 5 to 15 years old by my late Father Ben Lupo who was a full time musician and a '70' year member of Detroit Local 5 Federation of Musicians. SoI know accordions period. My Dads plaque proudly hangs in my store today.
Anyway I was taught on a 12 bass model a few years newer than this one. This little beauty is in AMAZING condition and is all original with no signs of any repair work. I picked it up and started playing it and all the keys and 12 bass buttons work perfectly. What fun as it took me back to being a 5 year old kid,
I mean WAY back like 67 years back!
I just played it again and it sounds AMAZING! The bellows work very well and the little accordion is quite loud with a full rich TONE. You could play this accordion in front of an audience and it would be plenty loud.
What we are selling here is art. Art that makes beautiful music. When I think of all the time and effort it took to build this little gem it makes me think that this accordion is a bargain.
