Original vintage c 1966 Epiphone e-252 broadway in truly lovely, vintage playing condition. These guitars are wonderful rarities, and were Epi's bells n whistles big body jazz archtop, the sister guitar to the gibson es175. Like the 175, this is a genuine, gibson made, Kalamazoo label guitar with REAL PAF patent sticker gibson mini humbucker pickups. This was Epiphone's flagship, and the equal or better of any gibson ES that came out of those doors, with all the deluxe appointments. -just beautiful.

Of course, she plays like a dream. Perfect neck, perfect frets, and the Mini hums sound, duh, amazing. So hot and detailed, like a more focused full sized humbucker. I think these are my fav pups ever. Tuners are rock solid, and she holds perfect tune. Definitely one of those finger friendly guitars that make you a better player. These yachts were really meant to be played. She's definitely a big box jazzer, but sounds great with an overdriven amp for rock, just huge with a nice old vox, or blackface fender.

Cosmetically, as photos attest, she is in very vintage condition, with all the light and natural distinguished exterior finish and play wear one would expect of a well loved, well cared for and well played classic of this age and pedigree. There is much weathering and and gorgeous checking and patina to the lacquer, oxidation, especially on the neck reverse. Very sexy, smokey, muy authentico vintage cred. No breaks, no cracks, no issues, and she’s just been pro refretted, neck reset, and given a clean bill of health. Total player. A quality hardshell case (not pictured) is included.
