Ampeg SVT-III (non-pro)

What we've got here is an Ampeg SVT-III, or otherwise known as the "non-pro" version which pre-dates the current svt-3 pro. These versions sound significantly better than the later ones, and for the price is an awesome sleeper amp to get some great bass tone, without breaking the bank.

It features a different preamp which is actually the closest Ampeg did to the original blueline era svt's. This preamp was also the same one featured in the svt-II rackmount tube head, and svt-IIP standalone preamp.

Tube preamp, solid state power amp. Does 350 watts @4 ohms, and into a large cab can be quite loud.

It's seen some wear and tear over the years since the amp is over 20 years old. A careless associate knocked it off an amp stack about 6 months ago bending the area where the banana jack speaker inputs are, and taking a chunk out of one of rear plastic/rubber feet on the back of the amp but I had it taken to a tech who went through the amp, and gave it a clean bill of health. I tried my best to show this in the provided photos.

There's a sticker on the front, and some old adhesive residue that has been there since I've had the amp. Probably can be cleaned up and fully removed, but it never bothered me too much.

Some rack rash and the normal wear and tear to the case, I didn't have a scale but it's probably around 30lbs, can be rackmounted, and takes up 2 spaces.
