This is a reissue of the WW2 era LG2. The back, side, top, and neck are all mahogany, which gives this a warm, even, mid tone. The fingerboard is rosewood, and has a 12" radius, with dot inlays. The body bracing is scalloped top bracing. The binding is multi-ply. The neck shape is considered slim-taper by Gibson, but it is a hearty C. There are 19 frets, and the scale length is 24.75". The tuners are vintage style black. The nut/saddle are bone, and the nut width is 1.725. The hard shell case is included, and it should be noted there are a few marks on the case (see photos). Ships in original box.
This guitar is in wonderful condition. I mostly fingerpicked with it, but on one occasion used a pick. All case candy is included. It came set up for 12s, but I had a professional luthier adjust for 11s. It is limited edition, with a run of only 50 (this is #9)! I’m the original owner, have never toured/gigged this guitar, and it comes from a smoke free home.
