T. Mead Banjos Guitjo 2016 Natural Maple, Spruce

This Guitjo by T. Mead Banjos is tuned in a a Nashville tuning: the E,A,D and G are tuned an octave higher than a normal guitar. This gives a it a bright and jangley sound. Great for picking parties and adding a different feel to your jam without having to learn a new instrument. This guitjo has a Maple ring and back with a Spruce top. The neck is carved from African Mahogany, with a Birds-eye Maple veneer on the head stock. The string rest on an ebony inlaid tail piece and run a cross a hand carved bridge topped with ebony.
