This is a vintage 1970 Lyle C-640 classical guitar. It is in good condition and the minor scratchs and wear is shown in the picture.

I use to make guitars and now focus on restoration, repair and revoicing. This guitar has no cracks and the neck is straight. I set up the action with a bone saddle and adjusted to play easily. The strings are néw la Bella 2001 median-hard tension concert series strings.

Lyle guitars were made by Aria and this is the top model. The top is solid cedar and the back and sides are rosewood. Guitars made by Aria rival or exceed the guitars made in spain during the late 60's and 70's. This was the second top model offered and the sound reflects it. Guitars tops improve with age and this guitar is a good example of a well made vintage guitar.

The sound is very spanish, sweet, even and good volume.
