Sequential Circuits Prophet VS rackmount synth module #69 1985

Big bills come due, so sadly it's time to see my beloved VS rack go to a new owner.
Aside from typical rack rash on the top and bottom, which of course doesn't show when racked, this machine is in fantastic shape and been well cared for. Not many of these rack VS synths left out there, most in the hands of well known people. An absolute classic.
All controls work as they should, most importantly the joystick which has seen very little actual use (i've always used an external joystick on the sy35 mapped to it to keep it low use). Some of the buttons, especially the blue patch selection buttons, are a little bit stubborn though this hasn't been a huge problem since I just use a controller keyboard / ableton to switch patches. *added clarification: the data entry slider works fine, but the slider cap went missing long ago. this does not effect functionality and you can get a new slider cap from wine country sequential if it really bugs you.
These are absolutely amazing sounding machines, but not much fun to program from the front panel so I'd recommend using a software editor and patch librarian. Firmware version is v1.1 but I expect whoever buys it will want to put in their preferred version, I understand a homebrewed v1.3 is actually in the works from a private party you may want to look into which adds functions like LFO sync/unsync. Replica CEM5530s are also being made in limited runs, though the originals in this one still work just fine.
