A true classic from the era that defined the sound of
acoustic guitar, this twelve string Martin was lovingly brought back
from the edge of despair by master luthier Eiichi Ishakawa (Shuriya
Guitarcraft). As a D-35 from 1966, the back is an exquisite troika of
Brazilian Rosewood from the coffers in Nazareth PA before the spectre of
scarcity took hold and the guitar industry landscape began to change.
This particular vintage instrument belonged to the original owner, my step grandfather. He played and sang country music and kept good care of it. The entire instrument is crack free. It does has some very minor scratches and nicks in the finish, but the wood is in great condition. I had it serviced recently and it plays beautifully.
Included is the original case, which is very worn but functional.
