Ludwig and Ludwig Bass Drum 1920's

Vintage 27.5" Ludwig and Ludwig bass drum circa 1920's. The 3 ply shell is beautifully aged old growth maple/poplar/mahogany hardwoods, unlike anything made today. Although the drum was probably listed as a 28" drum, the shell is slightly undersized, and a 28" head does not fit properly. One good calf skin head and a flesh hoop that you could have tucked with a new calfskin for the other side. You could also custom order a 27.5" head from any Remo dealer. The drum is in working order and can be played with the one functional head, as the hoop is secured with 4 clips, but tuning is limited. This drum has a lovely patina with all the original nickle plated hardware in very good condition. Review the pictures and ask any questions, I will promptly respond.
