Notes:, Tom DeVoe has been single handedly crafting guitars for over a decade. With a background in precision machining, DeVoe brings an innovative approach to his instruments, from his distinctive hex-key adjustable bridge to the deep Selmer style cutaway. Each instrument is built entirely by hand, and individually tap tuned. No more than ten instruments will be completed in a given year.

The guitar is constructed of highly figured tiger flame maple, and is fitted with all handmade ebony hardware. At 2 7/8" deep, the 16" X-braced body is just slightly shallower and easier to hold than many traditional models, and the neck profile is a gentle arc that nestles smoothly in the palm. The voice is clear and open, and the instrument is notably light in weight. The Duncan pickup is custom wound, and top mounted for improved sustain and feedback control. All solid, all carved, all hand made.

Setup: This instrument is strung with medium gauge nickel roundwound strings (.011-.052). The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 5/64" to 6/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.

Case: Originalplush hardshell case.
