Brand New 2018 Alembic Scorpion bass guitar in crazy burl Claro Walnut.  The Scorpion basses are rare and in our opinion, the most beautiful.  This bass was designed to be light weight, so the back plates are wood, the body is chambered, and the core wood is mahogany with "Hippie Sandwich" maple and purple heart accent laminations.  We estimate the bass at around 9 lbs.  The bass is long scale at 34" and has the beautiful Alembic "Crown" headstock with upgrade bevelled edges.  The oval inlays are abalone, and the neck is maple and purple heart.  The side dot markers are green LEDs with sterling silver tube surrounds.  The fingerboard is Gaboon ebony and the nut width is the standard 1.75".  At the body, the fingerboard is 2.25".  The electronics are the tried and true Signature circuit with master volume, pan, 2 tone, and 2 Q switches.  The third switch is for the fingerboard LEDs.  This is a new instrument from an authorized Alembic dealer, and the bass comes complete with all case candy, warranty, and paperwork.  Retail price for this instrument with its upgrade wood and features is $14,909.00.  Go ahead and make us a crazy offer, and let's see if we can make this the best holiday gift to yourself ever!  Ships the same day payment is received via Fedex Ground insured.  Feel free to inquire about other Alembic basses in stock or how to place an order for the bass of your dreams at the guaranteed best price.  Our goal is to bring the magic of an Alembic instrument to all!  After all, nothing else even comes close!
