Here is a Strat that was professionally built and set up with precision to the specs of a Fender 1991 Jeff Beck Signature Stratocaster. If you are interested in an early JB Strat model, you know how pricey they have become. Not only have they recently become collectible & sought after, but they are also awesome guitars to play!
So here is a guitar that was built for you to play with new and original vintage NOS parts!
The high-quality Surf Green body & "Fat" profile neck were produced by Warmoth.
This neck is significant, the profile is one of the key characteristics of this model. The U shaped profile is 1" deep from the headstock
all the way to the heel. If you desire a "Fat", "Baseball Bat" neck, this will hit the mark not only in feel but contributes to the overall tone
& sustain of the guitar. Another key asset to a JB neck is the installed original Wilkinson Splitnut, which is still used by Jeff Beck today!
The tuners are original vintage satin locking Sperzels.
The body was finished in the awesome Surf Green color. The pickup cavity was routed to Fender's 90's "Swimming Pool" config.
The loaded pickguard was set up and wired with all new components: 2 CTS pots (Vol and tone) and a TBX tone control.
4- Lace Sensor Hot Gold pickups (6k Neck - 6k Middle - 6k/13k Bridge) with a push-push button to split the humbucker.
The bridge is a 2-point American Standard set floating as any JB Strat should be.
This Strat weighs in on the lighter side considering the hardware at 7lbs 7oz.
This guitar is set up with a low action, resonates very well acoustically and feels well balanced.
Included is the imported version of the tweed hard case that the JB Strat's originally came with.
It's really a decent knockoff that will protect the guitar.
See the video below of me playing the prototype custom build we did that is pretty much the same except the neck is the roasted maple version & the humbucker switch is a three-way mini selector type.
