For sale is a rare, vintage Neumann KMS 84i.
This microphone has the same K84 capsule as the famous KM84 and has enjoyed light duty in a smoke-free studio.

This particular version has a switchable hi-pass filter.

The mic is fully tested and working perfectly. It has only very minor marks on the body while the capsule and windscreen are perfect. The windscreen is removable to reveal amazing German engineering - see pictures!

This mic comes with a genuine leather Neumann case. Though not the original case for this mic, it works quite well. The case is missing the Neumann badge.

With Neumann products, the "i" designation is for microphones that shipped with an XLR output connector for export to the USA. The KMS 84 (no i) is electronically the same, but has a din-type Tuchel connector for the output. So this mic is ready to go with XLR output. Requires phantom power. Cardiod polar pattern.
