2012 K M Clark Custom A Wedge Cutaway Acoustic COCOBOLO Kevin Michael

Up for sale is an All-Original Kevin Michael Clark Custom A Wedge Cutaway in Excellent Condition. Features include: Solid Spruce Top; Solid Cocobolo(multi-lam 'wedge') Back and Sides; Flame Walnut Neck; Rosewood Bridge and Fingerboard; and Mutli-Ply Wood Binding and Appointments. Scale Length 25.5"; Nut Width 1.75"; I would describe the neck shape as a wide-thin D.  

This guitar is performance art - not only looks stunnings, but plays and sounds great with excellent projection.  

Structurally solid: neck is straight with no visible fret wear; there is a subtle dip in the top(see pic) to the side of the low-e that was there when I bought it over 7 years ago with no change or affect on performance and all bracing clean and intact - I guarantee this guitar to be structurally solid and without issue .

Cosmetically overall, this guitar is very clean with no real visible 'wear'. As far as marks; there are a few shallow indents on the upper bout of the top(see pic); about a 2" hairline crack in finish(not in the wood) on the back top near the binding that's not obvious but easy to find once you know its there(see pic); and some very mild/typical finish settling and mild 'handling marks' here and there. I own another KM Clark and have had the pleasure to see a couple other peices of his work as well as other high-end builders ( such as Petros) and the mild cosmetic 'settling' issues on this guitar are minor compared to most - In other words, if you're looking for a Taylor type of impeccable detail at every crevice, this is probably not the guitar for you...if you can imagine some of the best quality a craftsman can create outside of cnc-based manufacturing(especially something this complex), you won't be dissapointed and highly likely, downright impressed. Condition overall, I would rate this easily an 8+.  

Guitar plays, looks, sounds great and needs nothing. The case pictured was sold with a KM Clark 8-string I had - this one includes a New Deluxe USA Taylor Dreadnought case that fits/protects the guitar very well (happy to send pics upon request).
