For Sale is an Alpaca Travel Guitar in excellent condition. This is a rare guitar! This guitar is the perfect grab and go guitar for all conditions. With its nut width at approx. 1-11/16" and scale length just under 25", this guitar plays and feels like a full guitar. The carbon fiber in its body makes it resistant to humidity and outdoor conditions that would be hard on wooden guitars.
This guitar is in really nice shape and set up great as well. It has a strong fundamental sound that projects really nicely for its size. It is currently set up with D'addario ej16 strings and has smooth frets in great condition. The guitar also has a single action truss rod that you can access through the sound hole if you would like to adjust neck relief. Although I don't think this guitar needs it due to the current action and weather resistance, this is a nice option that not all carbon fiber guitars have. The head stock has been eliminated for stability, which takes a minute to visually adjust to, but truly it feels great to play and having a locking nut helps eliminate binding issues. The tuners are also smooth and easy to adjust.
The guitar comes with all of the accessories listed including a travel sack with back straps to carry the guitar. Its serial number is "Allison". The company used names and not numbers to identify them.
Alpaca guitars is no longer producing/selling guitars and the best I can interpret, they had some issues supplying guitars to their initial investors. Some people invested and waited well over a year, to never receive a guitar! Here is your chance to own one of their rare guitars that really plays and sounds great. Please feel free to ask any questions.
