About This Listing

When you play an Ibanez Prestige guitar you are playing the best, and the Cody Bowles Signature CBM100 does not disappoint!  The attention to every detail of the guitar is evident from the time you pick it up.  On this particular guitar the action is great, nice and low with zero buzz.  Of course the Seymour Duncan Antiquity Pickups give the authentic classic sound that we all love.  Whatever you are into this guitar will fill the bill with tons to spare.  Serial number 0001F1621469.

Here is what Ibanez says about the CBM100:

As a multi-instrumentalist in GRAMMY Award-winning Zac Brown Band, Coy Bowles has had the opportunity to play many guitars, however, there's only one he calls"his baby," and that's his prized Ibanez Artist.
Acquired when he was only 17, Coy's Artist holds a special place in his heart and remains a key part of his current arsenal for performances with the multi-platinum Zac Brown Band, as well as his own group, The Fellowship. His affinity for the Artist eventually led to a collaboration with Ibanez, and the CBM100 Coy Bowles Signature Artist model, true "player's guitar," that's stunning in every way.

Using Coy's original 1997 Artist as an inspiration, the CBM100 is built around a choice grade Mahogany body with a Maple top, masterfully finished in a resplendent gold metallic. The CBM100's set-in Mahogany neck is designed and shaped to Coy's specifications, and features an Ebony fretboard with striking pearl/Abalone block inlays, medium frets expertly finished using the Prestige fret edge treatment, glow-in-the-dark side dots, and a bone nut for classic, warm tone.

A Schroeder Stoptail bridge offers a comfortable playing surface, easy string loading, and superior intonation and tone. Equipped with brass saddles, the Schroeder produces a crisp, articulate sound and enhances sustain. For electronics, the CBM100 is loaded with a pair of Seymour Duncan® Antiquity Humbuckers. These "aged" pickups are designed to deliver the aesthetics and tone of vintage 1955 humbuckers with an articulate, yet mellow tone, rich in harmonic content.

Perfect for rock, country or blues, the CBM100 is classic Ibanez taken to the next level.

FAQ, frequently asked questions

Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher?  The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.

Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier.

Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty.

Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping.  Also some players like to set up a new guitar to their own personal preferences.

What identifies an instrument as being refurbished?  All refurbished instruments are issued a new serial number.  This is to prevent an unethical dealer from concealing the fact that the instrument was sent to a refurbisher.
