I am the original owner of this classic, original model Rode NT2 that was purchased new in the 90's. It was used for vocals only and always with a pop filter.
This is the model that Neumann sued Rode about because it's head basket looked just like a U87's and Neumann didn't like that :)
Sonically, I actually prefer THIS NT2 to a newer NT2a and that might be because almost 20 years have passed since it was made, and like all vintage microphones, their tone changes over the years (they usually get a little less bright).
As the Photos show, it is in pristine condition, especially for its age.

Sonically, it performs flawlessly and all switches and connectors work as they should.
