The story I was told though I can't confirm any of it goes like this.  Supposedly Kramer made this "prototype"(pretty sure this is false and it's actually a 1984 Pacer Deluxe) for Eddie Van Halen.(I'm fairly certain this is complete bullshit).  Supposedly Eddie didn't keep it and it ended up in Johnny Cash's guitar players hands who supposedly traded it in at Mass Street Music in Lawrence, KS where my friend purchased it before selling it to me in the late 80's.  I swapped out all of the pickups as the originals didn't sound that good.  It currently has a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker in the bridge, Anderson single coil in the neck and a Hot Rails in the middle.  The frets are pretty low and flat in some areas but it does play fine.  I taped it up to replicate Eddie Van Halen's Black strat with yellow tape.  It could easily be removed and cleaned up.  I don't have a scale but this is a heavy guitar.

Since I listed this a couple days ago an informed individual was kind enough to share his expertise.  As such I have updated the listing to include the details he provided.  1984 Pacer Deluxe.   Thanks for looking and good luck guitar shopping:)
