In the early 1900’s Martin popularized the ukulele and was among the biggest builder of this tiny hawaiian instrument. Stopped in 1970, the ukulele’s production started back in 2000 thru the Mexican facility of Martin. And then finally, in 2006, the high-end and highest quality ukulele was back on the market : the 5K. Here’s a pristine close to as new condition Martin 5K Soprano ukulele from 2007. Almost flawless condition, it’s hard to imagine a better-sounding and better-looking big names’ factory ukulele built with such an uncompromising commitment to quality than this 2007 Martin 5K Ukulele. Really, this uke is a gem and competes with the highest grade master luthier ukes we had or played.

Highest grade figured koa, our 2007 Martin 5K Soprano is in close to mint condition and shows barely any signs of play or use. There's only one small dent, on the top, hard to see, but it's here... The body is made of solid AAAAA grade figured Koa, already gorgeous on its own, but its greenheart abalone body purfling and rosette give this one a striking look. The ebony fingerboard has abalone snowflake inlays, and an abalone-inlaid flowerpot on the peghead gives the final touch to a super high-end ukulele. The design and quality will satisfy any collector. This 5K uke will not disappoint the musician either; a warm and rich sound with excellent dynamic, unusually loud for its size (a soprano).
