I bought this kit to use as a practice kit and fitted it with double ply mesh heads, which produce a surprisingly nice tone with normal heads fitted on the resonant sides, but unfortunately it’s still a little too loud to use in my apartment.
The shells are the Acousticon 516 shells which were top of the Remo line when this kit first came out and sound great! Edges are all in good shape.
Sizes are 20, 10, 12, 14, 14” snare; floor tom has had a sturdier Pearl mount fitted.
Included is: Le blond cases (in ok shape, not great), Pearl hi-hat stand (not pictured), snare stand, and floor tom stand.
